Paige's first hair cut

So I am one of those mom's that does not want to cut my daughters hair, but after two years I finally gave into a little trim! We went to an adorable "kids only" hair salon which did a wonderful job. Paige keep busy by soaking there floor with water, then decided to wash her feet with the hair dressers water bottle. They didn't seem to mind...they said she did a wonderful job! After her hair was cut Paige got to pick out the color ribbon she wanted in her hair...awww isn't she cute!!!

Help is here!!

May 1st my Mom and Aunt Ellen flew all the way from Illinois to meet baby Reese, and to visit with the rest of us as well :) They were wonderful help to me while they were here, I was so sad to see them go!

Welcome Reese Layne Elkins

Reese was born April 15th 2009 at 12:12p.m. 8lbs 14oz. 21" long.

It's official....she's a teenager!!!

In April we celebrated Brittany's birthday with a spa day at the house. We had cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling cider(that's what is in the wine glasses!) Of course it wouldn't be a spa day without the facials!! The girls made there own facial masks with oatmeal, honey and water...it was pretty funny! Later that evening they did each others nails. Everyone had a blast!!

Happy Birthday Paige!!!

Our beautiful daughter turned the big 2 years old on February 13th, 2009. Her big day started by going to school and having a fun Brithday/Valentines Day party with all her friends in her class. Paige brought in birthday cupcakes and made sure to wear her "I'm 2" birthday ribbon all day so everyone knew she was the Birthday Girl!! Following her big day at school we had a Birthday celebration at our house with Grandpa and Uncle Tommy, which included an Elmo cake(which she picked out all by herself)and tons of presents. Grandma sent her everything you could ever need to play dress up! Brittany and Paige have already played dress up/tea party several times!! And Uncle Tommy gave her the cool chair pictured above. It was so much fun watching her open all her gifts, she has so much personality and was really enjoying herself! I can not believe our little girl is two already....it is unbelieveable how fast they grow up!!
